Jet Set QuintetWith Mambos, Cha-Chas and plenty organ-drenched swing classics, the cocktail-centric anthems of the Jet Set Quintet recall the fads, fashion and optimism of Mid-Century America.

Performing inspired original works, as well as original arrangements of timeless jazz classics, the Jet Set Quintet mixes a sonic cocktail that is equal parts musical virtuosity and pure entertainment.  The swingin’ five-some showcases the musical genres from the late 1950’s to the early 1960’s, including the popular sounds of the TV and film studio orchestras of Henry Mancini, Billy May and Esquivel; The Cool School tones of Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck and Stan Getz; The Bossa Nova or “New Beat” of Sergio Mendes and Harry Bellefonte’s Calypso.

So pour your favorite cocktail, relax and enjoy the mood and music of the Atomic Age –– courtesy of the Jet Set Quintet.

THE CATS
Tony Guerrero - Trumpet/Flugelhorn
With over 20 years of performance experience, Tony Guerrero has garnered critical acclaim as a solo artist with top-20 radio airplay and a worldwide audience with the release of multiple recordings in the contemporary jazz arena. The realization of The Jet Set Quintet has allowed him to further explore his love for the straight-ahead, post-big band jazz bag.

Robert Kyle - Sax
Having shared the stage with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Lou Rawls, Linda Ronstadt and Carol King, the long-time music director for blues-diva, Linda Hopkins, is Robert Kyle -- the soulful and swinging saxophonist/flutist of the Jet Set Quintet.

Dave Siebels - Hammond B3 Organ/Piano
He has arranged and produced 25 albums, scored 35 films, 9 TV shows and conducted 65 musical variety shows episodes.  One of the most distinctive performers on the legendary Hammond B3 organ, Dave Siebels recently released Big Phat B3, a disc that features his crazy organ skills accompanied by the world-famous Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Big Band.

Matt Johnson - Drums
One of Southern California’s most dynamic drummers, Matt Johnson has performed and recorded with such disparate artists as singers Julie Andrews and Andy Williams; Big Band legends Billy May and Les Brown; Rock and roll pioneers Jan & Dean and many, many others.  The LA Timesproclaimed Johnson to be “A hurricane on sticks!”

David Miller – Bass
When he’s not laying down the foundation for the Royal Crown Revue – a champion of the Jump-Swing scene – Dave Miller supports such touring jazz artists as Betty Carter, Ornette Coleman and the Glen Miller Orchestra, and now, the most sophisticated, Jet Set Quintet.
