Bijon Watson, trumpet, flugelhorn
A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, Bijon has performed with leading orchestras across the country, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, the John Daversa Progressive Big Band and the Jazz on the Latin Side All-Stars. Bijon has recorded and toured with Harry Connick, Jr., Diana Krall, Alicia Keys, and Prince, among others.
Tom Luer, tenor saxophone
Tom’s most recent performance credits include tours with Engelbert Humperdinck, the Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band, Poncho Sanchez and Queen Latifah. His television appearances include the American Music Awards, The Tonight Show, and the Ellen DeGeneres show. Tom has also served on the faculty at Cal Poly Pomona in Pomona, CA.
Adam Schroeder, baritone saxophone
Recently voted “Rising Star” on Baritone Sax by Down Beat International’s Annual Critic’s Poll, Adam Schroeder has performed extensively with Clark Terry and Ray Charles, as well as touring with Maureen McGovern and John Pizzarelli. Adam has recorded and performed with the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, Michael Bublé, Sting, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, among many others.
Andy Langham, piano
Andy studied Jazz Performance at the University of North Texas. He has toured with Poncho Sanchez, and Natalie Cole. Andy’s résumé includes performances and recordings with such varied artists as Flaco Jimenez, Willie Nelson and Clark Terry. Andy currently teaches Jazz Piano at California State University Long Beach.
Garrett Lang, bass
A graduate of the New School for Jazz and Contemporary music in New York City, Bassist and Composer Garret Lang has performed with his heroes Reggie Workman, Junior Mance, and Bernard Purdie. Garrett has played the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Playboy Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and Disney Hall in Lox Angeles.
Bill Wysaske, drums
Drummer, composer and educator, Bill Wysaske’s list of credits include performances with Michael Bublé, the Count Basie Orchestra, The Tonight Show and the Ellen Degeneres Show. An alumnus of both the University of North Texas and the Henry Mancini Institute, Bill has made his name working across musical genres, from Broadway to pop.
