His performances have included a concert with a string chamber orchestra in Jakarta (September 2007), a recital tour across prisons in Louisiana (July 2011), and a summer jazz concert with California's Bellflower Symphony (August 2011). He recently went on a music ministry tour in Mexico, reaching out to hundreds of drug & alcohol addicts in rehabilitation centers throughout Baja California (July 2012), and twice participated in Italy's Music Fest Perugia (Augusts 2010 & 2012), performing with the Solisti i Perugia chamber orchestra. He collaborates regularly with Bei Bei He, Southern California's prime Gu Zheng (Chinese zither) player.

Joshua was a finalist in the 2009 José Iturbi International Music Competition at UCLA and a semifinalist in the 2009 Louisiana International Piano Competition (LIPC). He won the Grand Prize to the 2010 Cal State Fullerton Music Associates Concerto/Aria Competition, which led to two sold-out concerts with the CSUF Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Kimo Furumoto, performing Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 1 on May 15 & 16, 2010. He was also the publicity assistant to the 2011 LIPC, working with competitors, their hosts, live webcast viewers, and local & international news services. He promoted the competition, performing for and speaking to audiences ranging from Rotary Club members to Montessori schoolchildren  throughout its city of Alexandria, and currently helps manage its online outreach.

Born in 1990 in Riverside, California, Joshua has been with the piano since age 4, initially learning at age 6 under the late Marie Estudillo, and he coaches, accompanies, and loves to glorify God on the piano in his own compositions as well as on organs in churches throughout southern California.
