Charlene Insun Chi, Mezzo-Soprano: A native of Toronto, Canada, Charlene is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music, in Vocal Performance. Ms. Chi is an active performer of opera and concert repertoire in the Los Angeles and Santa Barbara areas, and has also provided solo recitals in the Pacific Northwest, Denver, and Canada. Following an invitation to a singing engagement in Germany, she recently returned with great success. 
Ms. Chi is a recipient of the highly-acclaimed L?©ni F?© Bland Vocal Scholarship, and has been honoured with numerous awards such as the Mabel Wilson Richards Scholarship, John T. Hamilton Scholarship, Joyce Korean-American Scholarship, and is presently a recipient of the Arques Charitable Trust Fellowship. She also has received considerable training in piano, violin and flute.
