Lopez, David, professor of Music and Ethnic Studies, holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in music performance from the University of Arizona. Mr. Lopez is an accomplished woodwind specialist in both jazz and classical idioms.

Mr. Lopez is in his ninth year at Santa Ana College and is currently the Chair of the Ethnic Studies Department. He has also toured and performed nationally and internationally as a featured soloist or ensemble member with various orchestras, chamber ensembles and jazz groups. Some of his recent performances were as a sax soloist in the rock opera ‚ÄúQuadrophenia‚Äù , and as a featured artist at the Proof Bar and the Boardwalk Caf?© in the artists‚Äô district of downtown Santa Ana.
