Maiden Voyage with Ann Patterson
          Patterson holds three degrees in music and brings a rich and varied background of experience as player, conductor and educator. She was named 2000 Jazz Educator of the Year by the Los Angeles Jazz Society.
        Patterson has played with the big bands of Jack Sheldon, Bill Berry, Bill Holman, Buddy Childers, Buddy Collette, James Newton, and the Frank Capp/Nat Pierce Juggernaut. She played lead alto with the Don Ellis Orchestra, appearing at the Newport, North Sea and the Montreaux Jazz Festivals and recording two albums with the band.
