Tom Hynes

Hynes, Tom, an accomplished jazz guitarist,¬† produces the Orange County Museum of Art’s Summer Jazz Series. Tom‚Äôs credits range from Bob Hope to opera star Frederica Von Stade and include a 1996 State Department Tour of the Middle East.¬†Compositions include original music for short films for the Smithsonian Museum and the recent ‚ÄúFrank Lloyd Wright/Light Screens‚Äù exhibit at OCMA.¬† An acclaimed jazz educator, Tom holds positions at Cal State-LA, Citrus College, Mt SAC and Azusa Pacific University. Other musicians in the trio include Gerry Schroeder on piano and Osama Afifi on bass.
