JAZZ WEDNESDAYS: Club Django, considered Southern California’s foremost proponent of the music of Django Reinhardt, consists of Joe Jewell, Don King, Roger Shew and Daniel Blank who also incorporate their other styles such as blues, jump, modern jazz and classical music.
The concert is 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the beautiful outdoor Rose Garden of the Hotel Laguna, 425 So. Coast Hwy., Laguna Beach. Luther-Hughes
Great jazz inspired by the music of Cannonball and Coltrane as well as new arrangements of some classic jazz standards. Luther Hughes has played bass with some of the biggest names in jazz in a career spanning over 30 years. Joined by Glenn Cashman, tenor sax, Bruce Babad, tenor sax, Ed Czach, piano, and Paul Kriebich, drums.
