Founded in 1993 by harpist Carol Tatum, Angels Of Venice ethereal sound is made up of harp, recorders/flutes and vocals, combining Medieval, early Renaissance, traditional, original Alternative, World and Neoclassical styles.
Founder and Harpist Carol Tatum, is an ASCAP member, producer and published songwriter and has released 6 CDs of original music and appeared on over 20 compilation CDs for Windham Hill Records. Carol has also co-written with rock vocalist Lenny Wolf of the band Kingdom Come and with vocalist David Swan Montgomery from the tribute band Led Zepagain for a 2013 release of traditional Celtic songs. Carol's Angels of Venice recordings continue to receive prolific international airplay and are sold around the world.
Singing in English, German, Galacian-Portuguese, Latin and French, Soprano Christina Linhardt has enjoyed an eclectic and versatile career as a concert performer, cross-over artist, actress and dancer. She is most known for her "Classics to Cabaret" act (which was the headliner for the opening of the Grand Concert Hall in Saxony, Germany), and her independently produced CDs, "Circus Sanctuary" and "Voodoo Princess". For the Los Angeles Opera Ring Festival, Ms. Linhardt premiered several new musical compositions written for her. She is a recommended chanteuse for the coveted Southern California Chamber Music Consortium. The official national anthem singer for the German Consulate in Los Angeles, Christina represents Berlin every year at the Los Angeles Sister Cities Festival.
Susan Craig Winsberg received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Flute Performance from San Jose State University, and went on to perform professionally throughout the U.S., Europe and Canada, including playing co-principal with the Monterey Symphony Orchestra in California. Her musical interests have since broadened to include Celtic music, Jazz and Mariachi, along with learning Irish wooden flute, pennywhistle and recorder. Susan has received a Grammy award and two nominations as a member of the Mariachi Divas, and has released four CDs of Celtic music on her own label, Craig Records. Susan also performs with her own Celtic band, Blackwaterside, and teaches flute and piano in the Los Angeles area.
