Artists

Alfred Johnson is a celebrated singer songwriter, and funky piano player, known for his energetic style and originality. He co-wrote songs with Rickie Lee Jones for her Grammy-winning debut album and has penned over 900 tunes. His music has been recorded by acclaimed artists including Dianne Reeves and Ernie Watts. Blending funk, soul, and gospel, his genre-crossing style has captivated audiences for over four decades.

Cynthia Carle is a writer, songwriter, and performer whose credits include The Sixth Man, YouWish, and Sharkpunching in America. She co-created the musical Christmas Smackdown, performed in LA, Chicago, and New York. As an actor, she has appeared on Broadway and at leading regional theaters. An LA Weekly–nominated choreographer, she also performs her original songs at venues across Los Angeles.
