The Artists
Born in New Orleans and raised in Mississippi, Ed Tree’s music is rooted in country, blues and New Orleans R&B. During a career spanning more than 40 years, he has produced over 200 albums, including two Top Five Billboard Blues releases. As a guitarist, songwriter, producer and touring musician, Ed has worked with Spencer Davis, Rita Coolidge, Al Stewart, Juice Newton and Booker T. Jones. He has performed at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and the Grand Ole Opry, placed songs on the Billboard Country Top 40 and achieved a number-one hit in Europe. He continues to produce, write and perform.
Singing from the drums, Dave Tull combines world-class jazz vocals and drumming with clever, original songwriting described as “Frishberg meets Gershwin.” His album Texting and Driving was the second most-requested new album of 2018 on SiriusXM Real Jazz, reached No. 5 on the Billboard Jazz Chart and No. 3 on the Billboard Comedy Chart, and was featured on NPR’s Weekend Edition. Dave became Barbra Streisand’s drummer in 2016, performing on five tours and her Grammy-nominated Netflix concert special. He also spent a decade touring as drummer and lead vocalist for Chuck Mangione and continues to lead his own trio.
